Students exploring cameras Digital Arts

Mahtomedi Middle School (MMS) students in Digital Arts loved exploring their new cameras! Each year, as part of the Zephyr Gala celebration, the Mahtomedi Area Educational Foundation (MAEF) Board of Trustees selects an innovative educational proposal called a Fund-A-Need (FAN). In 2024, donors supported the purchase of learning tools, including cameras, tripods, chargers, and batteries for the digital art classroom.

Digital Arts is a class for seventh and eighth-grade students at MMS. In Digital Arts, students explore and learn about the facets of digital art, including photography, video, and graphic design. Students learn and use current elements of technology to express their feelings and ideas by creating and producing personal works of art.
