The Mahtomedi Area Educational Foundation (MAEF) recently presented Mahtomedi Public Schools with a check for $86,000, the funds raised through MAEF’s 2024 Fund-A-Need fundraiser. The funds will be used to support the district's goal of enhancing digital arts and engineering pathways for students by establishing a Digital Arts classroom at Mahtomedi Middle School and equipping the Fabrication (Fab) Lab at Mahtomedi High School with industry-grade engineering technology.
Jim Hansen, President of the MAEF Board of Trustees, presented the check to the district at the Mahtomedi School Board meeting on May 23.
