Below you will find a list of helpful resource and practice sites.  Also you will see data on why reading daily is so important.  On this site you will be able to find assignments for Essential Reading 7 and Essential English 7.  Math Strategies will complete all work in class as it is a supplemental math class.

Students can read current and archived magazine articles.  Students can take AR tests on the 2 main articles for each issue.  There are also fun learning games and links to neat videos.

The students can log on to this from any computer. There username and password is the same as their network log on.  Great way to increase your vocabulary in a fun way!

Students log in with their Google drive accounts. This is a place where students and teachers can make and share flashcards. There are also games that help you learn. This works best for vocabulary terms and can certainly be used for other classes and in the future.  I have all of 8th grade English Power Words on here.

Students can work on math lessons that are at their current level.  All students have completed a placement test in their math strategies classes.  MobyMax then automatically assigns skill lessons to build math skills.  There are many other subject areas on this site as well.
